Barbara Du Toit | Founder & Principal Designer

Barbara Du Toit graduated from Wits University in 1979 with an N. Dip Architectural Design and holds a National Senior Diploma in Interior Design. An award-winning designer from the start, she earned Student of the Year (1977) and Sculpture Awards (1975-1977), establishing a foundation of creative excellence.

Since founding her practice in 1990, Barbara has maintained 30+ years of professional membership with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession) and the IID (Institute of Interior Design). Her work is defined by a passion for natural textures, space, and 3D visualization.

Now focusing her three decades of experience exclusively on Helderberg Village, Barbara provides residents with a bespoke, high-touch service. She manages the entire lifecycle of a renovation—from structural planning and compliance to the final interior finishes.
